TEID Services Description

The TEID provides:

  • Access to instrumentation, equipment, and key services on infectious diseases and other research areas
     
  • Training and support in experimental techniques, equipment use, and computer software to scientists working in the TEID core facility.
     
  • Consultation, training, and expert support to investigators in research techniques, protocols, and methods.
     
  • Training and advice in cell culture, molecular biology techniques, genomic analysis, protein quantification, enzymatic assays, ELISA, among others.
     
  • Access and training in microscopy (light, inverted, fluorescence, and stereomicroscopes) as well as imaging software.
     
  • Scientific advice in technical assays, experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of results.
  • In vitro screening of novel compounds and drug discovery (experimental therapeutics).
