Poster Presentation at the Annual Meeting of Clinical Applications in Cytometry

Dr. Emma Fernández, Director of the RCMI Program and Professor in the Department of Pharmacology attended the annual meeting of Clinical Applications in Cytometry held in Palm Springs, CA. Her poster presentation, CD95 Antibody Binding Capacity of T Cells Subsets Defined with Four Color Flow Cytometry, focused on preliminary studies conducted in collaboration with Rodica Lenkei, M.D., Ph.D. from Calab Laboratories in Stockholm, Sweden.

Dr. Fernández and Dr. Lenkei are also collaborating in studies related to the expression of the Fas/Fas-Ligand system in Type 1 diabetes. The Clinical Applications in Cytometry meeting addressed the most recent clinical applications of flow cytometry as well as new insights and new techniques being utilized in clinical flow cytometry.
