RCMI Program Shares Information at PAHO Meeting

The RCMI Program participated as an exhibitor during the 41st Conference of the Directive Council of the Pan-American Health Organization held from September 27 through October 1st in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Representatives from health ministries in the Americas, as well as officials from the Pan-American Health Organization and the World Health Organization, met to discuss important administrative and policy issues.

During the Conference, the Medical Sciences Campus had an information center, which presented facts about its research, teaching and service activities. All schools and special programs of the campus were represented at the booth on different dates. Dr. José G. Conde, Associate Program Director, was responsible for providing information about the RCMI Program. The Program exhibited a video that explains its mission and resources, and written information was also available. As a main resource of research infrastructure at the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico, the RCMI Program is positioned to facilitate collaborative research endeavors with other institutions around the world.
