NINDS Officials Visit the Medical Sciences Campus

Officials from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) visited the RCMI Clinical Research Center at the Medical Sciences Campus on December 3, 1999. Dr. Audrey S. Penn, Deputy Director; Dr. Joana Rosario, Program Director, Office of Special Programs in Neuroscience; Dr. Robert W. Baughman, Associate Director for Technology Development, and Mr. Levon Parker from the Grants Management Branch toured the facilities and met with Chancellor Pedro Juan Santiago-Borrero and other Campus officials and investigators. After their visit to the Center, these officials met with Dr. Norman Maldonado, President of the University of Puerto Rico. They also attended the 8th Puerto Rico Neuroscience Conference sponsored by the Institute of Neurobiology.
