RCMI Web Server Goes Online!

Mr. José Luis Torres, Computer Specialist of the RCMI Research Informatics Unit, fine tunes the new RCMI web server at the Medical Sciences Campus Computing Center

The RCMI Program has installed its own web server at the Medical Sciences Campus. The Linux-based server is a 233 MHz tower connected to a Bay Networks 28104 concentrator also acquired through RCMI funds. It occupies a space at the Campus' Computing Center, thanks to the collaboration of the Information Systems Office Director and Telecommunications Supervisor, Professor Sandra Santos and Mr. Daniel Cordero, respectively. The server was configured and installed by its sysop, Mr. José Luis Torres, Computer Specialist of the RCMI Research Informatics Unit. The RCMI Program thanks Mr. Torres for his efforts.
