Dr. José G. Conde Receives Arturo Cadilla Award 

Dr. José G. Conde, Associate Director of the RCMI Program at the Medical Sciences Campus, received the Arturo Cadilla Award on March 6, during the annual convention of the Puerto Rico Academy of Family Physicians The award is sponsored by Hospital San Pablo, one of the biggest medical institutions in Puerto Rico, and recognizes professionals from fields other than Family Medicine for their contributions to the development of the specialty in Puerto Rico. Dr. Conde, a medical epidemiologist, was recruited by the Department of Family Medicine, University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1987. Since that time, he has stimulated research productivity and scholarship among faculty, residents, and fellows. Congratulations to Dr. Conde for this achievement.
