Dr. Loyda Melendez invited to First Annual World Summit of Antivirals

1st Annual World Summit of Antivirals

Dr. Loyda Melendez was invited for an oral presentation on "Novel mechanisms of HIV Dementia using Proteomics" at the session of "Future an accurate diagnostics available for major viral diseases" given at the 1st Annual World Summit of Antivirals in July 21, 2008 in Kunming, China. Dr. Melendez met with scientists from different countries and exchanged ideas on proteomics and Neuroaids. Dr. Melendez trip was sponsored by a combination of funds from Bit Life Sciences, the Chancellor, and the Deans of Medicine and Administration of the UPR Medical Sciences Campus.
