MBRS-RISE Program Summer 2003
On August 1st, 2003, the MBRS-RISE Program sponsored a research activity at the UPR Medical Sciences Campus where students presented a poster with results of their research experiences during the summer 2003.
Mariel Candelario, Mirelys Nieves and Héctor A. Miranda, undergraduate students from the Quantitative Cyto-Pharmacology laboratory, presented a poster focused on the analysis of Intracellular Cytokines by Flow Cytometry.

Héctor worked in the Quantitative Cyto-Pharmacology laboratory for the past academic year under the MBRS-RISE Program and the poster presented was "Intracellular Detection of Cytokines TNF-a and IFN-d in Molt-4 T Cells by Flow Cytometry".
Mariel and Mirelys participated in the program for the summer and presented "The Effect of Glucose in the Intracellular Expression of IL-2, TNF-a and IFN-d in Molt-4 T Cells Analyzed by Flow Cytometry". This activity was attended by faculty members, research staff and students.
