INDUNIV Holds Second Forum for Innovation

 

The Industry/University Research Consortium holds its Second Forum for Innovation on May 21-24, 2002 at the Caribe HIlton Hotel in San Juan. The goal of this activity is to make Puerto RIco a showcase of technology at both local and international levels. The activity is organized by Mr. William Hernández, Executive Director of INDUNIV, and Mr. Carlos Tollinche, INDUNIV's Director of Scientific Affairs. Focus areas include pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, biotechnology, environmental issues, medical research, and industry regulatory trends.

A conference will be devoted to medical research on Tuesday, May 21. During the afternoon session, Dr. Emma Fernández-Repollet, RCMI Program Director, Medical Sciences Campus, will present a an overview of the RCMI Program, as well as a presentation of the Master's Degree in Clinical Research Program in development at the Campus.
