Dr. DeMello serves as the editor of the book: "Frontiers Research Topics: Beyond the Conventional Renin Angiotensin System"

The RCMI Program congratulates Dr. Walmor De Mello, professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacology at the Scool of Medicine, UPR MEdical Campus, for serving as the editor of the book: "Frontiers Research Topics: Beyond the Conventional Renin Angiotensin System"

 

 

Frontiers Research Topics are collections of at least ten articles, alll focusing on a particular subject under a leading topic editor. In this particular edition, Dr. De Mello and invited contributors address the role of the renin angiotensin system in deifferent organs including the heart, circulatory vessels, kidney, and probably brain. Aspects of physiology and pathology, as well as the clinical relevance of these local systems are discussed in detail. "The book provides a level of detail from the introductory, all the way to the most detailed explanations,"said De Mello.

The RCMI Program congratulates Dr. Walmor De Mello, professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacology at the Scool of Medicine, UPR MEdical Campus, for serving as the editor of the book: "Frontiers Research Topics: Beyond the Conventional Renin Angiotensin System"
